Black History Month Reading Challenge

Read a book that won or was nominated for a Coretta Scott King Book Award. Tell us when you finish and we will ask you to write a brief one or two sentence review of the book. You will be entered into a raffle for a Blender's gift card.

Ms. Ferrer's AVID students will research a figure from Black American history in order write a biographical rap song.  Students may complete their research with books from our print collection or the digital resources listed on these African-American Digital Resources slides.
